Start the morning with a cappuccino or take a break between walks around Staritsa at the coffee shop of the Volga commune hotel. The menu has espresso, americano, cappuccino, raf and flat white, plus the barista’s own coffee drinks, including the signature “Admiral” coffee with sea salt, named after the legendary Admiral Kornilov, who came from the Staritsa district.

There is plant-based milk, healthy snacks, tea and fragrant herbal blends. Sit with a nice cup at a table in the hotel lobby or outside (tables are set out in good weather), or take your drink to go.

The coffee is made from selected beans — 100% Arabica with a balanced taste, light acidity and chocolate-caramel notes — on professional Italian equipment. The beans are ground right before each cup is made, which keeps their aroma and brings out the flavour.
